Distillery Equipment Copper Stills

The Alchemist Four Inch Copper Still, I ran at a new distillery I am working with, we’re running test product. It is a vodka
coming out at the end of the year.
Well, my still made a 96% vodka, a huge improvement from 95% and this still doesn’t cost of tens (or hundreds) of thousands of dollars, or looks pretty with windows, or looks like it is 17th Century,  it is just FUNCTIONAL. My still is affordable. I know people personally who have spent
450 grand on German stills that do this very same thing. And look at my little still compared to that one.
I worked on this still for years. And, with all my stills, the potential is there, for the 2 and 3 inch as well.
There was a few things I did, I can go on about at a later stage. Its all about LIQUID MANAGEMENT ( I just made a video I am posting here with a 3 inch Alchemist) and packing the column a certain way. There is also COOLING MANAGEMENT, which will come in another video, another time. I shot a video tonight about how and when to use the liquid management. Its
really something with practice you can
master.
The temperature of the alcohol-was ranging anywhere between 53F degrees and 55F, so what you do- to bring it up to the baseline
of alcohol- has to be 60F degrees of alcohol, so we add 2 points. Works out to 96%. I am extremely excited.
TO GET accurate ABV.
The meter comes with a graph on
how to read the abv. ( For example at 55
degrees we add two points)
The reason I
do this is so you have no disinformation out there, some people will show you a high abv, but do not show you the
temperature- and when you actually measure it correctly- it is alot lower! Do not be fooled by this when purchasing a still.
( FOR EXAMPLE: 85F you have to minus ten points, so if they tell you its doing 90% at 80 degrees F- According to the chart you have to minus ten points, that is 80% abv!)
In the design of my still you can get 96%. And the great
thing about this 4 inch is— it is doing 4 gallons
an hour…at 96%.
All my readings I have a thermometer there so you can see the temperature of the alcohol.
Alot of people out there, run their still fast, and bring up the temperature of the ethyl alcohol, which may be measuring 80 degrees F- so if you change the baseline which is 60
degrees, see on table, that means you are probably minusing 8 points to get correct alcohol reading, so they may be running 75% alcohol.
The higher the temperature you minus the abv, the lower- below 60, you add to the abv!
I do not want to bullshit the market. I do not want to lie to anyone. I want to be above board, honesty is best policy and I want to keep this.
Anyways, the distillery owner of this still is so excited. Did I say it was doing 4.2 gallons an hour?
I cannot release any information yet, as things are still in R&D
( Research and Development). I was not allowed to take any photos of the distillery. Its the 4 inch Alchemist. I am
just excited and blown out. Working with this still for 3 years, been working out the bugs, I definitely have nailed it. I also changed the style of packing. Its 10 foot still and alot is played around with, about how you pack the still inside the
columns that helps with the abv inside.
Running a still that is producing 4+ gallons an hour at 95-96% abv, now that is where you can start making moolah in a micro distillery!! If you can run this thing ten hours a day, that is forty gallons a day. At 190 proof. I am also available with purchase, to guide and educate those distilleries out there.
Also there is “liquid management” which I do a video here
(Video done on a three inch Alchemist) so the potential is there for 2, 3 and 4 inch Alchemists. They all work the same. It may be still uploading when I post this, so come back.
We have a compound reflux still, liquid and cooling management, that is pumping out 96% ethyl alcohol. You guys are going to LOVE this still…or alcohol I should say. This was pumping out 4.2 gallons an hour.
This is classed as a EUROPEAN VODKA at 96
and above, or a “Russian Vodka”. I tasted
it tonight it was clean clean clean! There was no odor.
Simply amazing.
I am excited my still can produce a TRUE VODKA. This is what this did. Equivalent of a EUROPEAN VODKA.
Like I said, it is all about getting to understand the behavior of this still. The still works. You have to understand how it
works. The balance between liquid management and the
amount of btus. It takes practice. I am available to educate all master distillers on my still or even set up.
This vodka is going to come out in the market soon. I guarantee when this hits its going to do very well.
Running a still the first time is like when you got a drivers
license. You couldnt do anything but focus
on the road 6 months later you got a coffee, a texting and steering the car with  your knee. The more you use, the better you get at it.
This is affordable, designed for American Distilleries. Who can produce a vodka still, at this price, for a ten foot tower?
Nobody else, I dont care, this doesnt have sexy windows or perforated plates. This is pumping out 4.2 gallons an hour at 96%  Come on guys Tell me! I will leave it at that.
Testing a copper parrot in my yard, this before polishing.
Thank you ANTHONY ZACA
Hey all you people in Seattle, My good friend Cory, I did a video with him, he is doing a basic distilling class at his distillery. Please go support local master distillers.

Update of Medical Marijuana OIL Extractor coming soon.

Part 2 of this blog here http://blog.rainierdistillers.com/2013/03/13/distilling-hash-oil-for-medicinal-purposessmall-business.aspx

This is for those who want updates on the Medical Marijuana Oil Still I have, the Extension to the Alchemist..look I am running a month behind. I am just trying to make this still safe. It has to be made of glass so you see what is running through it. I tried to get around it, but no, has to be, because you need to see the action to determine when you are going to empty the vessel. Its under pressure this one also, I just have to make this safe guys. I cannot sell until I know for sure and its been tested approved by those in the industry.

It is not the same as essential oil basket, different process. It is not the same thing.
This is not an essential oil still. This has been the hardest oil I have ever been trying to get out. To keep the integrity of the oil from the whole of the plant and not being selective. This is going to be for medical purposes. Its been tested, see my past blog about it, and its my clients, who are working with me, who have their permits, for distributing and cultivating, have found the dispensaries sell this, and ask for more. True, amazing, but it works, also a spray tincture of thc. I work with these fellows when I get a chance to see them. They have lots of shake they turn into an a grade product. Shake is something normally thrown out.
10 lbs spent product, two gallons of rendered product and each quart will give 40 grams.
It will all be sold as a kit, including the rendering part you just put on top of a rice cooker.
Beautiful photo of spent product burning. Nothing left of it. All thca removed.
I distilled with them 10 lbs of shake, we got 320 grams of what they call medical grade oil.
I was told not to talk about medicine, healing people, cancer, and to let others do this for me.I just build stills. I just take oil out of plants. But I have seen unexplainable things with this herb, why I took this on.
I am not in that business. I just make stills. Alchemy is my passion and when I say I can take the oil out of anything, its a challenge to me.

People say if this does what I say it does, that will be the only still I will be building. I love distilling. I do not keep any product. I do not keep any oil. The arrangement I have is when I see these clients on Medical Marijuana farm, I get product to test with, and they in return get product they sell, and eventually get to buy my first still.  They are dying for it. But I am so busy doing other stills, and taking orders, events. Its hard to do this fast enough. That is all I do. Build stills.

Those who render this product with acetone, isopropylene, and butane, etc..this is poisonous. Why would anyone want to render a medical product using poisons?
Ran into this guy at gas station! Spoke with him for a while. I loved his car painted in flowers. It is now legal in Washington State to have Marijuana even recreationally. I think to set a stage for businesses and small growers. Soon will see large scale growers I think as well and bigger companies. Its all about the business and our economy.
Hey guys, watch this documentary it covers everything. I watched it, its 4 hours. I watched with a friend and was blown away.
Thank you ANTHONY
